Indian Summer Pool & Spa traces its beginnings to Fender Brothers Construction, which was founded in 1984 by brothers Doug and Craig Fender. Known for their quality concrete work, it was a natural progression for them to enter the pool and spa arena in 1988. Beginning with stainless steel sided and vinyl liner pools in 1988, they produced two NSPI award winning pools before progressing to gunite pools in 1991.
Doug Fender, the companies CEO and sales manager has designed many award winning pool and spa's which incorporate ultra contemporary features such as glass block fountains cascading into pools and spas, automatic pool / spa covers, cutting edge - negative edge designs that overlook lakes and rivers as well as heavily wooded areas to create an extension of the horizon in the pool itself. Natural type pools are his design speciality, they feature native rock streams, bridges, grottos, special lighting and waterfall effects as well as artificial boulder work so popular with today's discerning pool owner. Doug's brother, Craig Fender, is an artisan at pool and deck construction. Perfection is his middle name. Craig has managed or installed many small to medium sized commercial and residential pool / spa / building projects. Craig's natural skill and his precision approach to pool construction results in a meticulously executed project with the skills of all personnel brought together to create a true, quality pool, spa, or pool and spa combination. Indian Summer Pool and Spa has the staff of craftsmen, and equipment to create medium to large scale residential projects as well as small to medium scale commercial projects. The styles and shapes of our projects are as endless as the imagination whether it be traditional free form, ultra contemporary or our new lagoon "grotto" style pools and spas.
IN GROUND STAINLESS STEEL WALLED POOLS
Indian Summer Pool and Spa offers In ground pools and spas that feature stainless steel walls and a concrete bottom. This style offers a more cost effective package for basic pool designs while still affording the durability of gunite pools.
IN GROUND FIBERGLASS WALLED POOLS
Indian Summer Pool and Spa offers in ground pools and spas that feature fiberglass walls and a concrete bottom. This style is similar to the stainless steel version but the material is layered fiberglass coated with acrylic. It still affords a durability level close to that of gunite pools.
IN GROUND VINYL LINER POOLS
Indian Summer Pool and Spa also offers in ground pools that feature a design that incorporate walls that support a vinyl liner for pool water retention. This style offers a package that has a less expensive initial investment but is primarily for residential environments only. The liners come in a wide variety of beautiful tile wall / floor patterns.
ARTIFICIAL BOULDERS AND WATERFALLS
Indian Summer Pool and Spa offers beautiful in ground pools, spas and water features that involve manmade but natural looking rock formations that can be shaped like boulders or shelf rock. This style offers a design that can incorporate caves with waterfalls cascading over the entrance. These caves can have bench seats or can be equipped with fully functional spas. Of course this style of project is for the discriminating pool owner who wants a free design concept but the imagination is the only limit as to the extent of these fantastic projects.
NATIVE ROCK PROJECTS
